The winner of round 4 can be found here.
Rules of the game: I'll post one or more picspam categories every week and pictures that shows our beloved boys (Merlin, Arthur or their rl counterparts) doing something in that category. Your job is to rate their performances on the scale of one to five, one being "FAIL" and five being "WIN". The character with the highest mean for each category gets a title such as, "Prettiest Eyes Of The Week" or "Hunkiest Beefcake Alive".
So are you ready to play?
Round five begins now!

If you happen to be in London this afternoon (Friday!), why not join some of the MOO crew down at Trafalgar Square? Not only will it be an opportunity to hang out with Nelson on his column, cool down with the pigeons in the fountain and perhaps have a wander around the National Gallery - but you'll also be able to cheer on MOO customer and friend Simon Berry, of ingenious charity Colalife. For one hour he'll have pride of place on the famously unadorned 4th plinth - as part of Anthony Gormley's latest project, 'One and Other'. ( More... )

Can anyone rec me some fics where Merlin's magic is revealed and as a result Uther tries to have him killed? I want Arthur trying to save Merlin, either in a dramatic way, or just plain begging Uther not to have him killed. I just have this image of Merlin tied to a pyre in my head that refuses to go away. Happy ending (Merlin lives) or sad ( He dies), either way is fine. my only must is that Uther is kept IC. No, "well i guess since you saved my son's life over 9000 times I'll forgive you just this once."
Someone please help me, this is driving me crazy

Although this is really bad quality, at least you can hear it pretty well.
In a word: Fantastic.
I got to have a few conversations with her, and it was so amazing. She is so incredibly cool.

Hey folks!
No I'm not dead. But I am basically dead to LJ, as you've probably surmised.
I have been figuring out SO MANY of my issues. One of them is that I need to get out in the world more. Friends online are one thing, but they need to take a backseat to RL friends. Spending a lot of time on here wasn't doing anything for me, and for my life, in the long run.
But I do owe you one last update, don't I?
I'm back in CA after the time in Japan, which, by the way, was spectacular. I hated most of the other exchange students, but that country was so amazing it made up for it.
While I was there, I changed. I saw what living apart from my father could do to me. I was the happiest I'd ever been, on the most basic level.
Sam, my boyfriend, and I, kept in contact. And you know how I used to angrily complain about fights and misunderstandings and all kinds of issues we had?
While I was in Japan we didn't have a single disagreement. Not one. And since I've been back? Well, we're both philosophers, so we argue all the time. But no fights, nothing close it it. Everything is going so well. The key? I never contact my father (who I've discovered is a Narcissist with a capital N) unless literally absolutely necessary. If I can do that, I'll be OK.
And, let's see. I graduated with university honors. I'm making all sorts of wonderful crafty stuff. Sam and I have been playing with polymer clay, and it's great fun.
I am looking into grad schools, hopefully U Manoa or maybe Columbia. We'll see.
For now... be well, everyone! I love all my LJ friends, and it's hard for me to go, but I have to. I'm not deleting this account, just don't expect to see activity here again.
Thank you, and good night.

So then the massage therapist said, "Oh, yeah, no wonder you're having balance problems" and proceeded to destroy my left shoulder.
OH MY GOD. When I stood up again, I fell down.
It wasn't dizziness, just, my body after the treatment was a TOTALLY DIFFERENT SHAPE from my body before it, and it took me like ten minutes to learn to WALK AGAIN. I swear I can hear better out of my left ear now. Apparently I carry all my tension in my left shoulder, and it radiates up around my ear and fucks me up. WHO KNEW.
Am I moaning about my health too much? I think I'm making my health interesting, but then I'm me.
Anyway, my day involved shouting about fridges and falling down for my health. Not my most awesome day, but as days go fairly objectively awesome.

The Groping Enchantment that had caused such a furore yesterday had actually worn off by this point, and everyone knew except Arthur.
Poor Arthur.

Just wanted to let everyone know, that a new version of MemcacheD has been released. We will be rolling this out to the memcache nodes during the week of July 20th to 24th. This should have very little impact on the stability of the website; however users may see a slight increase in load times as the cache is re-populated with entries.
The software has been tested and verified to be working just fine with the application; so we perceive this to be a very minimal risk in regards to updating, and the stability of the website.
Thanks...
